On this day we toured Biltmore. This shot is from their winery, but the real story was in the house. There is a big sign when you go in (after paying your $47) that says "No Photography". Despite this, I just had to take a shot of the indoor bowling alley in the basement. A fellow guest, a mid-40 something Southern Stepford bot drawled to me "You know, you are not allowed to take pictures here." Somewhat sheepishly I said that I did know. She then said "The light from the flash destroys things." When I informed her that I was not using flash, she said "Well, it still destroys things." Gotta love that!
