The Week of Green wrapped up in New Orleans, which I must say is such a fantastic place for photography. This was the second of many many pictures I took there on this trip. Two more will make it here for Days 55 and 56, and the rest are making there way up to Zooomr.

I'm a bit behind on posting these shots, since we just got back from a trip to New Orleans. This shot is from the slightly less exotic Dulles Airport in Virginia, where we spend 12 hours because of cancelled flights.

This bulb just doesn't care that it is still winter. It's going to do its thing anyway. You gotta respect that. Side note on the title - I like words that are both nouns and verbs.

Here at the house of Roth, we go through hose bibs like most people go through potato chips. This green beauty is the third in this location in less than five years. Figured I should capture it before it too needs to be replaced.

I'm finding that it is not so easy being green in February. So I guess you can consider this picture a hybrid between a keeper and a shot that just keeps the streak alive.

I wish it were this green outside, but until it is, I'll have to make do with houseplants in the morning sun.
