One thing I've learned on my photo odysseys is that pictures I take outside tend to come out better than those taken inside. This is especially true when the subject is a sunset, a critter, or a shrubbery. I also know that when a winter day comes along that I can go outside for a picture, I should take advantage of the opportunity.
