You'd think by now that I would jump at any chance to take what could be a really cool shot. Somehow this is not the case. I was at my next door neighbor's house when a pack of kids came blasting through the house screaming about a rainbow. "Ooh", said several people, "Andy you should take a picture". "Nah" said I. I didn't feel like going back to my house, switching lenses, and the thing would surely fade away by then and I already had a nicely mediocre picture of the model rocket launch from the Cub Scout thing earlier, and it is raining, and on and on.
Maybe I've learned nothing on this photo a day jaunt, or maybe it was just a momentary lapse of reason. Reluctantly I went home, got the camera, switched the lens, and took some shots. I must remember that I will never regret taking a picture, but surely I will regret not taking a picture.

This shot, devoid of photographic fakery, is one-in-a-million. Double rainbow over your actual nicely front-lit house. Doubt you ever get this chance again.
I like the title...West Side Story, right? for a house looking west.
